Career-Best Rankings for Guarachi and Routliffe in Latest WTA Doubles Standings

Guarachi came in at No. 74, while Routliffe cracked the Top 100 at No. 95
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Alabama women's tennis alumnae Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe earned career-best doubles rankings after Guarachi moved up 16 spots to No. 74 and Routliffe jumped 19 spots to No. 95 following the Women's Tennis Association Doubles Rankings release on Monday morning.
The powerful tandem is coming off a strong showing at the Citi Open this past weekend when the No. 4-seed duo made it all the way to the finals. The finals appearance marked the second time Guarachi has made it to a WTA Championship in the last month, and the first for Routliffe.
Last month, Guarachi became the first Alabama women's tennis alumna to be ranked in the Top 100 of any Women's Tennis Association rankings coming in at No. 85 in the doubles standings.
