
Alabama Women’s Basketball Schedule Completed with Announcement of SEC Slate

The Crimson Tide will play 16 regular season SEC games beginning on January 3
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The 2018-19 Alabama women's basketball schedule was officially completed with the announcement of the Southeastern Conference matchups, which were released by the league office on Thursday.
The Crimson Tide will play a total of 16 league games split evenly with eight at home and eight on the road. The schedule consists of a single game with 10 teams and a home and away with Auburn, Alabama's permanent opponent, and two rotating opponents that change annually. This year's rotating teams include Georgia and Florida.
The Tide will open conference play at home for the second consecutive year, when it takes on Florida (Jan. 3) inside Coleman Coliseum. Alabama will take to the road for the first in SEC action against South Carolina (Jan. 6), before returning back home to play in-state rival Auburn (Jan. 10). UA will hit the road again for a matchup against Texas A&M (Jan. 13) and then return home to play back-to-back games in Tuscaloosa versus Tennessee (Jan. 17) and LSU (Jan. 20).
Alabama will be on the road for two consecutive games to end the month of January, when it goes to Arkansas (Jan. 24) and Georgia (Jan. 27). The Tide will then host the NCAA championship runner-up from a season ago, when Mississippi State comes to town on February 3. After UA travels to Florida (Feb. 7), it comes home for a Monday night showdown with Kentucky (Feb. 11).
Down the stretch, Alabama will travel to Auburn (Feb. 17) and Vanderbilt (Feb. 21), before hosting Georgia (Feb. 24) and finishing out the home schedule with Ole Miss (Feb. 28). The Crimson Tide will close out the regular season by making the trip to Columbia, Mo., to take on the Missouri Tigers (Mar. 3).
The 2019 SEC Women's Basketball Tournament will be played Wednesday, March 6 - Sunday, March 10 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C.
Season tickets are currently on sale for $45 for public reserved general admission. Faculty/staff and senior citizen season tickets are available for $25, and groups of four or more public reserved general admission are reduced to $35.
Donation tickets for the women's basketball season are also on sale and offered at the discounted group rate of $35. Tickets purchased will be given to local 501(c) 3 agencies and/or military personnel. Donation tickets will not be mailed to the account holder but will be donated directly to the participating agencies.
