Alabama Softball Announces Five Fall Clinics

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball has announced five fall clinics to be held at Rhoads Stadium, featuring several guest instructors as well as Crimson Tide coaches and players.

Slap Happy, featuring Emily Allard
Sunday, Sept. 16: 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Grades 7-11, slap hitters ONLY

Maximum 50 campers
The Patrick Murphy Softball School Advanced Slappers clinic will be held Sunday, September 16 from 1-3:30 p.m. at Rhoads Stadium. The slappers clinic will feature guest instructor Emily Allard, an NPF World Champion with the Chicago Bandits and former Northwestern softball standout. Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy along with members of his staff and the Crimson Tide slappers will also serve as instructors. Campers will receive two-and-a-half hours of one-on-one instruction from the entire camp staff.
High Level Throwing Clinic, featuring Austin Wasserman
Monday, Sept. 24: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Grades 6-12 and coaches of all levels
$50

The Patrick Murphy Softball School High Level Throwing Clinic will be held Monday, September 24, from 6–8 p.m. at Rhoads Stadium. The throwing clinic will feature guest instructor Austin Wasserman, who is the owner and founder of Wasserman Strength, LLC and HighLevelThrowing.com. Wasserman is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and has been training athletes for the last 15 years. Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy along with members of his staff and the Crimson Tide Softball Team will also serve as instructors. Campers will receive two hours of one-on-one instruction from the entire camp staff.
First Base Clinic
Monday, Oct. 1 – 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Grades 7-12, first basemen ONLY
$85

The Patrick Murphy Softball School Fist Base Clinic will be held Monday, October 1 from 6–8:30 p.m. at Rhoads Stadium. The First Base Clinic will feature Crimson Tide head coach Patrick Murphy, Associate Head Coach Alyson Habetz and members of the Alabama softball team. Campers will receive two-and-a-half hours of one-on-one instruction from the entire camp staff.
High Intensity Hitting Clinic
Monday, Oct. 15: 6 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.
Grades 8-11

The Patrick Murphy Softball School will host its eighth-annual High Intensity Hitting Experience Monday, Oct. 15 from 6–8:45 p.m. CT at Rhoads Stadium. Each camper will receive one-on-one instruction from Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy, members of his staff and Crimson Tide hitters. Campers will receive two-and-a-half hours of one-on-one instruction from the entire camp staff.
Middle Infield Clinic, featuring Kai Correa
Monday, Oct. 29 – 6 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.
Grades 8-11, second basemen and shortstops ONLY
$100
Maximum 40 campers
The Patrick Murphy Softball School Middle Infield Clinic will be held Monday, Oct. 9 from 6–8:45 p.m. at Rhoads Stadium. The clinic will feature guest instructor Kai Correa, an infield coach for the Cleveland Indians organization, as well as Alabama head coach Patrick Murphy, members of his staff and Crimson Tide infielders. Campers will receive two-and-a-half hours of one-on-one instruction from the entire camp staff.
