Wimbledon Main Draw Action Begins Wednesday for Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe

LONDON – Former Alabama standouts Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe will play their opening match in the main draw of women's doubles at Wimbledon on Wednesday, July 4. The duo is scheduled to take on the Czech Republic's Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova, seeded third, in the round of 64 at 5:30 a.m. CT.
Guarachi and Routliffe played their way into the main draw with a pair of qualifying wins last week. They defeated Priscilla Hon (AUS) and Arantxa Rus (NED) in the first round, 6-3, 7-5, before knocking off Anna Kalinskaya (RUS) and Viktoria Kuzmova (SVK) to advance.
