Alabama Baseball Summer League Update: July 19

The Crimson Tide’s 12 players are split across nine different summer leagues
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Twelve members of the 2017-18 Alabama baseball team are taking part in collegiate summer leagues spread throughout the country. Below is an update of how some of the Crimson Tide's players are doing so far.Â
Joe Breaux | OF | Keene Swamp Bats (New England)
Joe Breaux continued his standout summer, maintaining a .323 average across 34 games of action for the Swamp Bats. Breaux ranks second on the squad in both hits (43) and RBI (21), while tying for second in doubles at five. His efforts have helped Keene go 8-2 over their last 10 games and place the Swamp Bats three games back of first place in the New England College Baseball League.
Mason Duke | RHP | Morehead City Marlins (Coastal Plain)
Mason Duke has been impressive for the Marlins during the summer campaign. Through 10 appearances, Duke has contributed 24.1 innings, notching a team-high four wins as part of his 4-2 record. The rising senior has also collected 23 strikeouts to help propel the Marlins to first place of the Eastern Division of the Coastal Plain League with a 26-10 record.
Brady Greene | RHP | Jupiter Wave (Palm Beach)
Brady Greene has proven to be a reliable arm for the Wave this summer. In his six appearances, Greene has collected 14.2 innings and allowed only one earned run to sport a sub-zero ERA of 0.61. Greene has also added 13 strikeouts to his totals during his time on the hill.
John Trousdale | INF | Willmar Stingers (Northwoods League)
John Trousdale's productive summer with the Stingers continued, with Trousdale totaling 44 hits, good for second on the team. The Rogersville, Ala., native ranks second in both home runs (4) and runs scored (28), while placing third in RBI with 19. Trousdale has added a team-high 27 walks to his stat line.
