Oregon State Beats Middle Tennessee, 5-1

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Oregon State Beavers beat the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders 4-0 in the first elimination game at the 2018 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Regional in Rhoads Stadium.

Oregon State returns to action immediately, facing the Wisconsin Badgers for the right to advance to Sunday's championship game against Alabama. OSU scored in the first and third inning to build a 2-0 lead before adding two insurance runs in the top of the seventh.

Meehra Nelson picked up the win for the Beavers, pushing her record to 16-10 on the season, while Cori Jennings took the loss for the Blue Raiders, finishing her season at 21-11.
