TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Alabama soccer team fell to Florida State, 2-0, Saturday afternoon at the Seminole Soccer Complex in the spring season finale.
After a scoreless first half, both teams created several opportunities on goal in the second, but the Seminoles were able to possess the ball longer and create more chances to win the game with a pair of second-half goals.
"I'm very pleased with our spring season as a whole," head coach Wes Hart said. "I look at where we are now compared to where we were one year ago today, and there is no doubt we are in a better place. I'm incredibly optimistic about the future and this fall can't come soon enough."
