Alabama Women’s Tennis Set for Eventful Alumni Reunion March 9-11

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Numerous members of the Alabama women's tennis program are set to return to campus for an eventful weekend centered around the Crimson Tide's Saturday doubleheader.
More than 25 members are returning to the Capstone for the Alumni Reunion and to watch the Crimson Tide take on conference foe Mississippi State and non-conference opponent UT Martin.
Saturday's matches will also serve as the Power of Pink match, which is an initiative started during the 2004-05 season by legendary Alabama coach Sarah Patterson to help raise awareness in the fight against breast cancer.
On Friday, the alumni will enjoy a get-together at the Rooftop Bar at Hotel Indigo, and will enjoy a "hit-around," luncheon and tailgate surrounding the pair of matches on Saturday.
