Alabama Softball Announces Exciting Fan Opportunities for SEC Play

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – With conference play fast approaching, fans will have numerous opportunities to experience the best atmosphere in college softball at Rhoads Stadium this spring. The UA marketing team is working to provide the Crimson Tide fans of all ages with fun activities and giveaways throughout the season.
Alabama's Southeastern Conference home opener against Ole Miss on Friday, March 23 is Greek Night and Crimson Chaos Night, featuring a number of giveaways including Whataburger chicken fingers, breakfast coupons and foam yellow hammers. Saturday's game against the Rebels is our annual Bama Salute game, which allows military members and their families to receive discounted admission with an ID. Sunday's game is Big Al's Kids Club Day with club members receiving $1 admission as well as free capes and black bags to the first 50 members.
The three-game series against Florida kicks off Saturday, April 7 at Noon CT and fans in attendance will receive a free mini bat. Sunday will serve as the team's annual Power of Pink game, which raises awareness in the fight against breast cancer. Wear pink and receive $3 admission to the game. The UA marketing team will also be giving away Power of Pink t-shirts, shakers and eye black. The series wraps up Monday night and fans will have the chance to receive Monday Night Softball themed t-shirts. Game three against the Gators is also Faculty and Staff Night, with all UA faculty and staff members receiving free admission.
Alabama and Tennessee begin a three-game series Saturday, April 21 and UA marketing will be giving away free foam gloves to those in attendance. Saturday and Sunday will be Academic Achievement nights, allowing area school children to redeem their admission vouchers earned earlier in the year. The Monday Night Softball themed t-shirts also return for the weekend finale with the Lady Vols.
Alabama's final home SEC series comes May 4-6 against Texas A&M. The series finale will be senior day for the Tide's six seniors and Big Al's Kids Club members will receive $1 admission and can receive a free stuffed elephant.
