Alabama Soccer Releases 2018 Spring Schedule

The Crimson Tide set to compete in five contests in this year’s spring schedule
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama soccer team and head coach Wes Hart officially announced a highly competitive 2018 spring schedule on Monday, which features a total of five matches.
The short spring campaign is comprised of three away contests and two home matches.
The Crimson Tide will open its spring slate on Feb. 24 against Memphis at the Alabama Soccer Stadium. Memphis ended its 2017 campaign with an 11-6-3 record and fell to UCF, 3-0, in the semifinal round at the American Athletic Conference Tournament.
Up next, Alabama will embark on a two-game road swing, visiting Clemson on March 3 and Samford on March 23. The Tigers ended its season in a shootout in the second round of the NCAA Tournament after topping the Tide in the first round, 2-1, while the Bulldogs clinched the Southern Conference regular season title and wrapped up its campaign 13-6-2.
Alabama will return to Tuscaloosa on April 13 to face in-state foe UAB in its final home match of the spring season, and will cap the spring on the road against Florida State on April 21. The Blazers ended its season falling to FAU in the Conference USA Tournament opening round to register a 13-4-3 mark, while the Seminoles fell to the 2017 NCAA Champions Stanford in the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament.
