MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team advanced to the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic Final after pushing past Arizona, 4-2, on Saturday afternoon at Lagoon Park in Montgomery, Ala. UA will take on No. 20 Arizona State not before 4:30 p.m. CT this today.

The Crimson Tide (14-0) continues to shatter records after the win on Saturday, the Tide has now won 14-straight matches which is the longest win streak in program history. The previous longest win streak was back in 1976 when UA won 12-straight matches during the season.

Alabama started off the day with the 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point on Friday. Arizona came out ready to play, tying the match at 1-1 when Jonas Maier defeated sophomore Zhe Zhou, 6-3, 6-4. Moments later, the match was tied at 2-2 when sophomore Edson Ortiz took care of Filip Malbasic, 6-1, 6-3, while Alejandro Reguant defeated sophomore Alexey Nesterov, 6-2, 6-2.

The Tide pulled through in the No. 1 and No. 2 spot, with sophomore Thibault Cancel coming back after falling in the first set to defeat Igor Karpovets, 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, while junior Mazen Osama clinched the 14^th win of the season for UA with his 6-2, 3-6, 6-2, victory over Trent Botha.
