Avery Johnson to Begin Weekly Appearance on “Hey Coach!” Show Starting Monday Night

Coach Johnson will provide a team update, take questions from fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures at weekly show
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama head coach Avery Johnson will begin his regular weekly appearance on the "Hey, Coach!" show starting tonight from 6-7 p.m. at Baumhower's Victory Grille.
Men's basketball play-by-play announcer Chris Stewart hosts the hour-long show, which can also be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network. Fans can ask coach Johnson a question at the restaurant, or they can call into the show toll free at 877-202-BAMA (2262). During commercial breaks and after the show, coach Johnson will be available for autographs and pictures.
The Tide's head coach will provide an update on the team and preview the upcoming contests.
This week, Alabama will host a pair of contests under the arched roof of Coleman Coliseum. The stretch begins Tuesday night when the Tide welcomes Georgia State at 7 p.m. CT. Following that game, Alabama will host the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday at noon CT.
The men's basketball team is off to a 5-2 start to the season and enters a stretch of playing three of the next four games at home. The lone road contest in the four-game swing will be the annual Rocket City Classic, which will be played in Huntsville, Ala., at the Von Braun Center on Dec. 18 vs. Liberty.
