Alabama Holds First Bye Week Practice on Tuesday

Crimson Tide turning attention to matchup with LSU on Nov. 3
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Crimson Tide returned to the field on Tuesday for a two-hour practice at Thomas-Drew Practice Fields, completing its first of three workouts during the bye week.
Alabama is enjoying its first break in play this weekend following a 58-21 victory over rival Tennessee last Saturday. Alabama is now preparing for its matchup with SEC west rival LSU. The Tide and Tigers will square off at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La., in a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on Nov. 3. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jamie Erdahl will be on the call for the CBS prime time battle.
The Tide is 52-25-5 all-time against LSU and has won seven consecutive meetings between the two squads dating back to the 2011 BCS National Championship Game. Most recently, Alabama earned a 24-10 victory over the Tigers at Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2017.
