Daniell was defeated by Hailey Baptiste, 7-5, 6-1
MACON, Ga. – Senior Andie Daniell dropped her match against Hailey Baptiste in the second round of qualifying for the Georgia ITF $80k tournament in Macon, Ga., on Monday morning.
Daniell began the qualifying round by defeating Amanda Rogers, 6-4, 6-2, on Sunday, before falling to Baptiste 7-5, 6-1.
Next up for Alabama women's tennis is the annual Roberta Alison Classic at the Alabama Tennis Stadium beginning on Friday, Oct. 26. In this year's classic, UA will be wearing pink all throughout the tournament to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.
