Alabama Football Puts in Final Work Heading into First Scrimmage of 2017 Fall Camp

Morning shells practice the eighth workout of fall camp for the Crimson Tide
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team held a final tune-up on Friday morning leading into this weekend's first scrimmage of fall camp. The Crimson Tide practiced in shells (helmets, shoulder pads, shorts) for roughly two hours Friday morning at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
Practice began at 9:30 a.m. with the team focusing on fundamentals in preparations for tomorrow's scrimmage. Saturday's intrasquad matchup will begin at 1 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium with an off day for the team to follow on Sunday.
Today's practice was the Crimson Tide's eighth of fall camp leading up to the season opener in Atlanta, Ga., against the Florida State Seminoles in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game. The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on ABC.
