Alabama Men’s Golf Celebrates Season with Annual Awards Banquet

Crimson Tide honors 2016-17 team at annual event
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's golf team honored the 2016-17 team with the annual awards banquet at the North River Yacht Club on Thursday evening.
Crimson Tide head coach Jay Seawell and his staff handed out awards and recognized the senior class as the 2016-17 golf team gears up for NCAA Tournament play.
Seawell handed out the following awards:
Jerry Pate Stroke Average Award – Davis Riley (71.19)
The Conrad Reilling Coaches Award – Steven Setterstrom
Academic Achievement Award – Robby Prater
In addition to handing out team awards, the coaching staff took time to recognize the 2017 senior class which includes Prater, Dru Love and William Sellers.
After reaching the match play semifinals at the 2017 SEC Championship, Alabama gears up for NCAA play next weekend. The Crimson Tide will find out its postseason fate on Thursday, May 4, when the NCAA Regional Selection Show will air on the Golf Channel at 11 a.m. CT (noon ET).
