Alabama Soccer Concludes 2017 Spring Schedule

The Crimson Tide’s intra-squad scrimmage which was set to take place on Friday, April 28, at 7 p.m. CT has been cancelled
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama soccer team concluded its 2017 spring schedule last weekend with a pair of matches against Wake Forest and West Virginia. The Crimson Tide's intra-squad scrimmage which was set to take place on Friday, April 28, at 7 p.m. CT at the Alabama Soccer Stadium has been canceled.
"It was a very successful spring season," said head coach Wes Hart. "We accomplished everything we wanted to. We did not feel it was necessary to force another week of training and another scrimmage when players were both physically and mentally spent. I'd rather end on a high note and let the players focus on their academics. Great to have the mid-year enrollees gains some invaluable experience that will help them come August. Awesome to see Celia and Chloe return from injury and get some minutes and gain some confidence. I am excited for where we left off in the spring and can't wait for the fall season to get started."
The Tide will kick-off the 2017 season against Middle Tennessee State on Thursday, August 10, at 7 p.m. CT at the Alabama Soccer Stadium.
