Alabama Senior Brent Sagert Takes 12th Off 3-Meter at NCAA Zone B Championships

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Brent Sagert finished 12th off the 3-meter board on day two of the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships being held in Auburn, Ala., this week. The Zone championships serve as the gateway to the NCAA Championships for divers.
The St. Albert, Canada, native scored 338.45 points over the final six dives, for a 12-dive total of 397.75. Sagert was fifth following prelims after tallying 361.30 points over six dives. In prelims, junior David Morton finished 25th off the men's 3-meter board after totaling 303.80 points.
Sophomores Ayanna Woods (231.40) and Margy McCarthy (208.00) finished 33rd and 39th, respectively, off the women's 1-meter springboard.
The NCAA Zone B Championships come to a close Wednesday when both the men and women will compete off the platform.
