Alabama Soccer Releases 2017 Spring Schedule

Crimson Tide set to compete in 10 contests in this year’s spring schedule
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –The Alabama soccer team officially released its 2017 spring schedule, which features a total of 10 matches, as announced by head coach Wes Hart on Friday afternoon.
The short spring campaign comprises a total of five home matches, including a season-ending intra-squad scrimmage.
The Crimson Tide will open its home portion of this year's spring matches in a doubleheader on Saturday, March 4, against Southern Miss and Lipscomb at 11 a.m. CT and 1 p.m. CT, respectively, at the Alabama Soccer Stadium.
Following the opening matches of the spring season, the Tide will travel to Greenville, S.C., on Saturday, March 25, to take on Furman and Virginia Tech at 11 a.m. EST and 1 p.m. EST, respectively.
Alabama returns home on Saturday, April 1, as it hosts Columbus State and Troy in a pair of afternoon matches that are set to begin at 1 p.m. CT and 6 p.m. CT, respectively.
The Tide will then roll into Memphis, Tenn., to take on the Memphis Tigers on Sunday, April 9, at noon CT in its lone contest of the weekend.
Alabama will travel back to the state of Tennessee on Saturday, April 22, to square off against Wake forest and West Virginia at 12:30 p.m. EST and 2:30 p.m. EST, respectively, in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Tide concludes its 2017 spring season with the Crimson/White match, which is an intra-squad scrimmage set to begin at 7 p.m. CT on April 28th at the Alabama Soccer Stadium.
