
Alabama Baseball Announces Complete 2017 Promotional Schedule

The 2017 season will feature new promotions to welcome fans to Sewell-Thomas Stadium
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama baseball team has released its 2017 promotional schedule, which features various season-long and game-specific promotions to entertain fans at Sewell-Thomas Stadium during the new campaign.
New this season to "The Joe" are "Taco Tuesday" for every Tuesday game as well as the "Saturday Entertainment Series", "Sunday Brunch" and "Kid's Day" promotions for all weekend series. Each Tuesday, fans can purchase a "Taco Tuesday" ticket for only $10 (limit of 200 promotional tickets), which includes a game ticket along with admission to the taco and salsa bar on the Third Base Patio. "Taco Tuesday" will be at all Tuesday games including Southern Miss (Feb. 21), Jacksonville State (Feb. 28), Troy (March 7), Eastern Illinois (March 14), UAB (April 11), Alcorn State (April 25) and Jacksonville State (April 25).
Each Saturday will feature a different entertainment group pregame. Fans can check RollTide.com for updates on who they can catch before every game. Sundays will feature a brunch option that costs $25 for fans and includes a game ticket and admission to the Third Base Patio, where a breakfast buffet will be provided. "Sunday Brunch" tickets are also limited to only 200 fans. "Kid's Day" will also be a part of each Sunday contest, featuring interactive activities for kids, as well as postgame fun such as running the bases, playing catch in the outfield and postgame autographs.
Returning from last season is "$5 Wednesdays," where fans purchase game tickets on Wednesday for $5. The two games are March 15 against Samford and May 10 for the contest with Grambling.
The Crimson Tide will offer T-shirt giveaways three times this season, including the first, on Friday, Feb. 21 when Alabama takes on Southern Miss. The first T-shirt giveaway will be an Alabama Baseball shirt, followed on March 3 against ULM, where fans can get a Greg Goff Bit Moji T-shirt. Lastly, a St. Patrick's Day Alabama Baseball T-shirt will be handed out on March 17 at the Missouri game.
Along with T-shirt giveaways, the Tide will also have two hat giveaways this season. The first will come on Friday, March 31 against Arkansas. There will also be an Alabama baseball hat giveaway and on Thursday, April 13 against Texas A&M. The matchup with the Aggies will be hosted by the Crimson Chaos where '90s hats will be given away to celebrate the Tide's "'90s Night."
The Crimson Tide will once again host a "Bama Salute Weekend" during that series with A&M from April 13-15. Friday will feature "Bama Salute" rally towels that will be given out. The whole weekend will also feature special presentations honoring our veterans and current service men and women.
The Tide's "Heroes Weekend" will come during the Arkansas - Pine Bluff series. Police, fire and emergency personnel are welcomed with free admission with their ID and all family members receive $5 to join them at those games.
Alumni weekend will be during the LSU series from April 27-29. Friday's game with the Tigers will feature an Alabama baseball anniversary pennant giveaway in honor of Alumni Weekend. Other promotional giveaways include a Coach Goff stadium lapel pin on Friday, Feb. 17 to kick off Opening Weekend, and "Mardi Gras Night" on Feb. 24 against Oral Roberts, where beads for the Crimson Tide will be handed out.
To conclude the giveaways for the season, team trading cards will be given away on Friday, May 12 when the Tide plays Florida.
