Alabama Baseball Announces 10 Enhancements to Game Day Experience

Crimson Tide baseball looks to provide the best game day experience to fans during the 2017 season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball is introducing 10 enhancements to help boost the fan experience at Sewell-Thomas Stadium for the 2017 season.
This season, the Tide will have a giveaway each Friday of a home series. Promotional items include lapel pins, T-shirts, pennants, hats and more. Once inside, fans will be welcomed to a brand new game day experience. The Crimson Tide will have a new introduction video, pregame routine and everyone's favorite light show will return once again for 2017.
The Crimson Tide will introduce two new reoccurring promotional days for the 2017 season – "Taco Tuesday" and "Sunday Brunch." Each Tuesday fans can purchase a ticket for $10 that allows them to take part in the taco buffet located on the third base patio. On Sundays, fans can pay $25 for a game ticket and will be treated to a brunch bar on the patio, as well.
Businesses and large groups can take advantage of that same third base patio at nearly every home game. Group seating is available in that area and provides the perfect setup for a birthday party, company picnic or family reunion.
Returning once again are Bama Buddies, which allows youth teams to take part in lineups and the National Anthem on-field with members of the Crimson Tide. Kids can also enjoy "Kid's Fun Day" every Sunday at the ballpark. All youth will be welcomed on the field postgame to run the bases and get autographs from select UA players.
This season, the Crimson Tide will make an effort to recognize teachers across the state who have had a great impact, both in the classroom and in their respective community. The "Heroes in our Classroom" will feature a new teacher each game and nominations can be made through Mike Harris (mharris@ia.ua.edu).
Fans will notice numerous activities around the main concourse in 2017. This season, the Tide will have a pennant making station, corn hole boards and inflatables at various games during the campaign. The Joe will also welcome musical acts on select game days.
Those wishing to take advantage of the existing amenities can once again head to the playground in left field or visit the team shop located behind Gate 3. At the team shop, fans can purchase their official Alabama baseball game day hat while also checking out the various other pieces of Crimson Tide gear for the 2017 season.
Each person in attendance at any home matchup for the Tide this season will also be able to take advantage of the "Experience" app upgrades. The app will allow fans to purchase seat upgrades, announce 'Play Ball', drag the infield and watch batting practice at any given game.
