Clear Bag Policy in Effect for Alabama Men’s Basketball Game at BJCC

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – In the interest of the continued safety of all guests, players and arena personnel, Legacy Arena will enforce a clear bag policy for the Vulcan Classic on Friday, Dec. 22.
In accordance with Legacy Arena Security Guidelines, the only bags, packages, containers or purses approved for entry into the arena must be non-tinted clear plastic, vinyl or PVC, and cannot exceed 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches in size, along with one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags. Small, one-compartment, clutch purses that do not exceed 4½ inches by 6½ inches (with or without a handle or strap) also will be permitted. All bags will be subject to inspection at all entrances and may be subject to additional inspection inside the arena.
An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
