Crimson Tide Foundation Receives Anonymous $1 Million Gift

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Crimson Tide Foundation received an anonymous $1 million donation in support of future athletics facility enhancements on Thursday. This is the second seven figure donation committed to the foundation in the last month.
"We are so appreciative of this generous contribution, which will help us greatly as we plan for the future," said Director of Athletics Greg Byrne. "Gifts, such as this one, are instrumental to the department's goal of developing and maintaining elite athletics facilities for our student-athletes, coaches and fans."
While some projects have their own funding initiatives, the general buildings and facilities fund assists in providing the financial means necessary to maintain and renovate existing structures and build new ones.
