TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the second consecutive season, senior Leah Lawrence has earned First Team Academic All-District 4 honors, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Thursday.
Lawrence is currently pursuing her master's degree in finance with a 4.00 grade point average after earning her undergraduate degree in just three years in the same field with a 3.99 GPA. The honor marks the 21st Academic All-District award in volleyball program history and is the second for the Huntsville, Ala., native. Lawrence now advances to the Academic All-America ballot with the winners to be announced in December.
Lawrence and the Crimson Tide head to Columbia, S.C., to face South Carolina Friday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. CT before returning home to host LSU Sunday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m. CT.
