Alabama Men’s Tennis’ Thibault Cancel Falls in USTA Pensacola Futures Championship Qualifying Round

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Alabama sophomore No. 72 Thibault Cancel fell in the qualifying semifinal against Felix Ewers of Germany, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, in the Singles Qualifying Draw of the Pensacola Futures Championship on Sunday.

With the completion of the CCB Collegiate Invitational and USTA Pensacola Futures Championship, Alabama men's tennis will return to action for the dual match season beginning with the season opener doubleheader against Jackson State on Jan. 13, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
