Alabama Men’s Tennis Finishes Strong at CCB Collegiate Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team finished strong at the CCB Collegiate Invitational, with sophomores Edson Ortiz and Zhe Zhou winning their singles matches at the Country Club of Birmingham on Sunday.
Ortiz took care of Mathieu Garcia of Portland in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, while Zhou cruised past Pierre Garcia of Portland, 6-1, 6-1.
Freshman Grant Stuckey fell against Pedro Uribe of Lipscomb, 6-3, 6-2.
The Alabama men's tennis team will return to action at the beginning of dual match season with its home opener doubleheader against Jackson State on Saturday Jan. 13.
