HOUSTON, Texas. – Alabama sophomore Thibault Cancel fell in the Singles Qualifying Draw Final at the USTA 25k Future hosted by Rice University on Monday in Houston, Texas.

The Toulouse, France, native came into the match winning he previous two contests before dropping to Jonathan Chang, 6-4, 6-2.

Alabama men's tennis will return to action on Friday for a three-day tournament at the Samford Fall Invite in Birmingham, Ala.
