Thibault Cancel Wins Again at USTA 25k Future

HOUSTON, Texas. – Alabama sophomore Thibault Cancel advanced in day two in the Singles Qualifying Draw at the USTA 25k Future hosted by Rice University on Saturday in Houston, Texas.

The Toulouse, France, native came into the qualifying draw as the No. 13 seed and finished off Gustavo De Oliveira Cruz of Brazil in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3.

Cancel will advance to the finals of the qualifying round tomorrow against Jonathan Chang at 10 a.m.
