NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alabama women's basketball head coach Kristy Curry, senior Hannah Cook and sophomore Jordan Lewis made the quick trip to the Music City Thursday for Southeastern Conference Tipoff, the league's annual preseason media opportunity featuring all 14 teams. This year's event was held at the Omni Hotel and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
The coaches and student-athletes spent the day with representatives from the SEC Network and ESPN where they not only previewed the upcoming season, but also had some fun telling stories, answering off-the-court questions and taking part in photo and video shoots. The trio closed out the day with an appearance on The Paul Finebaum Show.
Next up for Alabama is its annual UA SupeStore Tide Tipoff on Tuesday, Oct. 24, which features both the men's and women's basketball programs. Doors open for autographs at 6 p.m. CT, and the event will follow at 7 p.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide will play its lone exhibition game on Wednesday, Nov. 1, against the University of Antelope Valley. Tip is slated for 7 p.m. CT in Coleman Coliseum. The regular season will begin the next week when Alabama hosts Alabama A&M on Friday, Nov. 10, also at 7 p.m. CT.
