Alabama Men’s Tennis Travels to Baton Rouge for ITA Southern Regionals

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team will compete in the ITA Southern Regional Championships hosted by LSU in Baton Rouge, La., beginning on Thursday at 8 a.m.
Freshman Grant Stuckey will begin play on Thursday in the Qualifying Round of the tournament at 9 a.m. against Andres Romero of Troy.
The Main Draw will begin on Friday for the rest of the Crimson Tide with sophomore Zhe Zhou taking on Chung Han Tsai of Southern Miss at 1 p.m., while sophomore Edson Ortiz will play against a qualifier at 1 p.m.
On Saturday, sophomore No. 72 Thibault Cancel will play at 9 a.m. with his opponent to be announced, while Alexey Nesterov will play at 10 a.m. with his opponent yet to be determined.
In doubles play, Ortiz and Zhou will compete against Jiaqi Duan and Pelayo Antuna of Troy at 4 p.m. on Friday, while Cancel and Nesterov will play on 5 p.m. on Saturday with their opponents to be determined.
