Grant Stuckey and Alexey Nesterov Finish Up Day Two of Samford Fall Invite

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Freshman Grant Stuckey and sophomore Alexey Nesterov completed their second day of action in the Samford Fall Invite in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday.
Nesterov fell, 6-3, 7-5, to Clement Marzol of South Alabama, while Stuckey dropped to Olivier Gingas of South Alabama, 6-1, 6-3.
In doubles play, Stuckey and Nesterov were defeated by Hendrik Inno and Vincent Sterkens of Belmont, 6-4.
The final day of the invite will begin tomorrow at 9 a.m. with a round of doubles, followed by a round of singles. The five-team event includes, Alabama, Belmont, Samford, South Alabama, and UAB.
