Alabama’s Brent Sagert Posts Top-12 Finish to Close Tennessee Diving Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Alabama senior Sagert posted a top-12 finish off the platform to close out the Tennessee Diving Invitational held in Knoxville, Tenn., this week.
Sagert took 12th place after totaling 289.15 points over the course of six dives. Junior David Morton took 24th off the platform with 220.70 points. Sophomore Margy McCarthy led the Tide women with 194.30 points over five dives, good for 19th place.
After three days in Knoxville, the Tide's diving contingent will join the swimmers for two days of dual meets in the state of Louisiana, with the women competing against Tulane on Friday starting at 2 p.m. and the men and the women taking on LSU in Baton Rouge on Saturday, starting at 11 a.m.
