Alabama Volleyball Announces March 25 Coaches Clinic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball has announced a one-day coaches clinic on Saturday, March 25 at Foster Auditorium aimed to provide lessons for coaches at all levels of the sport.
The event, which opens for registration at 9 a.m. CT, features UA head coach Ed Allen, assistant coaches Ryan Freeburg and Tristan Johnson as well as Samford head coach Keylor Chan. The four will speak on a number of topics including training setters, developing effective attackers, blocking schemes and mechanics and team play. The instruction is aimed to provide information applicable from the middle school level through the college level. At the conclusion of the clinic, Alabama and Samford will scrimmage at 2:15 p.m. and the scrimmage portion of the schedule is open to the public.

2:15 p.m. – Scrimmage: Alabama vs. Samford
