Alabama Baseball Moves to Third Week of Fall Practice

The Crimson Tide will once again scrimmage on Saturday with the intrasquad open to all fans
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama baseball team and head coach Greg Goff move to their third week of practice starting on Monday, as the team continues its fall schedule of work.
Last week, the Crimson Tide went through a full practice on Monday with a practice and situational scrimmage on Tuesday. The situational scrimmage pitted players in key situations that they would face during the season to work on fine-tuning their game plan on both sides of the ball. Wednesday was an open field day with the team taking part in their video shoot in the morning. Thursday was the final full practice of the week, before things wrapped up with combined practice-scrimmage sessions on both Friday and Saturday.
Alabama returns to practice this afternoon with a 2:30-5:30 p.m. CT session before an abbreviated practice on Tuesday that will be followed by a situational intrasquad matchup. Wednesday will be an open field day, while Thursday's practice will run from 2:30-5 p.m. Friday will feature a quick practice followed by a scrimmage with all the action starting at 2 p.m., and Saturday will close out the week with a practice and scrimmage starting at 11 a.m.
All practice times are subject to change depending on weather conditions for the day. Scrimmages are subject to change, with the amount of innings and pitches per game being determined as fall camp progresses. Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Sewell-Thomas Stadium will be open to fans who wish to watch the practice and scrimmage dates. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are encouraged to stay in the lower bowl seating area, as access to the upper levels of the stadium is restricted.
