TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team continued preparation for Saturday's home game with Kent State on Wednesday afternoon, with a two-hour session in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
The Crimson Tide focused on making improvements following last Saturday's Southeastern Conference opener at Ole Miss. Alabama defeated Kent State, 48-7, in Tuscaloosa in 2011 in the first ever meeting between the two programs. Head coach Nick Saban is 14-1 in his career against current members of the MAC. Eight of those victories came in his first head-coaching stop at Toledo in 1990.
Alabama and Kent State are set to kick off at 11:01 a.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will air on the SEC Network with Tom Hart and Andre Ware in the booth and Cole Cubelic on the sidelines.
