Alabama Football Holds Final Saturday Practice Before Beginning Game Week Preparations

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team worked out in full pads during a two-hour practice at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on Saturday afternoon. The session was the final one before the Crimson Tide enters game week preparations on Monday.
Saturday's 24th practice of the fall was the final outing before the team begins game week work for the season opener with the 20th-ranked USC Trojans in the AdvoCare Classic on Sept. 3. The two teams will meet at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the game set for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will have the call from the booth with Samantha Ponder on the sidelines.
The Crimson Tide will take Sunday off before starting into its regular season routine on Monday afternoon. Head coach Nick Saban is scheduled for his noon press conference followed by interviews with selected players prior to the day's 3:30 p.m. CT practice.
