Alabama Soccer Releases Promotional Schedule

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – Earlier today, the Alabama Marketing & Promotions Department officially released the promotional schedule for eight home matches for the Alabama Soccer team during the 2016 campaign. The Crimson Tide will host the Sam Houston State Bearkats for its season opener on Friday, Aug. 19, at 7p.m. CT at the Alabama Soccer Complex. Once again, admission is free to all of Alabama's home matches this season.
Alabama has a tough home schedule this year, as it will host three NCAA Tournament teams from last season. The Tide will play the first of those three matches against the Murray State Racers on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m. The following two matches will be against two conference foes, as Alabama will take on the Texas A&M Aggies on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. and the Ole Miss Rebels on Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.
The Tide will also host the Georgia Bulldogs on Thursday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. in a match that will be broadcasted on the SEC Network. The contest will serve as this year's Power of Pink and Senior Night match, where we will recognize cancer survivors and our four seniors on this year's roster.
Alabama will conclude this year's home schedule against Vanderbilt on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. The winner of the "Thursday Nights Under The Lights" contest will be award the grand prize at halftime of the match. After the match, the Alabama players will be available for pictures and there will be a "Kick or Treat" competition that fans will be allowed to play. There will also be an inflatable bounce house, costume contest and the Alabama Soccer Complex will be decorated with Halloween materials.

BAMA T-SHIRT TOSS
For every goal scored by Alabama, the marketing staff will throw t-shirts into the crowd.
WALKOUT KIDS
Kids under the age of 12 are able to walk out with the Alabama Soccer players and stand on the field during the National Anthem. All participating children will get an exclusive Alabama SEC t-shirt. PRIZE GIVEAWAY
Fans will have the ability to sign-up for a chance to win a prize after every Alabama goal scored. After registering, one randomly selected fan will win a prize after each Crimson Tide goal scored.
BAMA BALL CHASER
Alabama Soccer ball chasers play an important role in every home game. The Crimson Tide is looking for youth soccer players to help maintain the game's pace of play by staffing the sidelines throughout the game. Ball Chasers must be 7-12 years old, arrive 30 minutes prior to game time, and be available for the duration of the game. They will spend the game on the field and will interact occasionally with the players and officials. Ball chasers will receive an Alabama Soccer Water Bottle. THURSDAY NIGHTS UNDER THE LIGHTS
Fans will receive double Crimson Tide Rewards points for all four Thursday night matches. At the last match, Crimson Tide Rewards members who attended all four Thursday Night Matches will be alerted that they are able to enter to win a grand prize of a cooler, official game soccer ball and an Alabama Soccer flag. After the second match, CTR will send an email to remind fans that they only have to go to two more Thursday Night matches to be able to enter to win a grand prize. The winner will be announced at halftime of the Vanderbilt game, which is on Thursday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. After the third match, all of those fans will be contacted an invited to the last match of the season to be entered to win the grand prize.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 19 VS. SAM HOUSTON STATE – 7 p.m.
CRIMSON CRAM THE COMPLEX
Students will receive a crimson t-shirt upon arrival, and they will have a chance to sign up to join the Crimson Chaos. Freshman students will also have the opportunity to enter to win a Go-Pro and a singed Coach Hart soccer ball.
GROUPS
The Crimson Chaos will have a table set up inside the gate where students who aren't already members or incoming freshman can sign-up to join. The Crimson Chaos will be recognized at halftime of the match.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 21 VS. MURRAY STATE – 6 p.m.
KIDS DAY
Big Al's Kids Club is sponsoring the match, and there will be a Fun Factory inflatable and a tye-dying station set up during the game. WorldSoccerShop.com will supply in game prizes and a USA Jersey for participating fans.
POST-GAME
Players will be available after the match to sign autographs for fans.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 26 VS. CAMPBELL – 7 p.m.
LUAU NIGHT/GREEK NIGHT
All fans in attendance are encouraged to wear a Hawaiian shirt. All members of a Greek affiliation will receive Greek points. At halftime of the match Alabama Staff and Faculty will be recognized for their impact they have on the soccer program.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 VS. ARKANSAS – 7 p.m.
EXPERIENCE THURSDAY NIGHTS UNDER THE LIGHTS/FUTBOL WEEKEND/INTERNATIONAL NIGHT
This will mark the first night of the four match contest in which students will have the opportunity to receive CTR points from attending the Thursday night match. If the attend all four Thursday night matches of the season they will have an opportunity to enter to win a grand prize during halftime of the fourth and final Thursday match of the season. Its international night fans and the first SEC matchup of the season. After the match players will be available to sign autographs for fans.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 VS. TEXAS A&M – 6 p.m.
BAMA SALUTE
A celebration to recognize those who have served, and those who are currently serving to protect our country. Members of the Alabama ROTC will have their swearing in ceremony at halftime of the match.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 6 VS. OLE MISS – 7 p.m.

Students are encouraged to attend to receive CTR points. Local soccer recreation leagues and club soccer teams are invited to attend the match.

EXPERIENCE THURSDAY NIGHTS UNDER THE LIGHTS/POWER OF PINK/SENIOR NIGHT
Students are encouraged to attend to receive CTR points. The match will mark this year's Power of Pink match, where cancer survivors will be recognized at halftime. The Crimson Tide Soccer team would like to invite fans to celebrate the 2016 season and say their goodbyes to the senior class. After the match players will be available to sign autographs for fans.
GIVEAWAY: The first 100 fans to arrive to the Alabama Soccer Complex will get a Power of Pink shirt, shaker and rally towel.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27 VS. VANDERBILT – 7 p.m.
EXPERIENCE THURSDAY NIGHTS UNDER THE LIGHTS/KICK OR TREAT
The winner of the Thursday Nights Under The Lights contest will be announced at halftime of the match, and the winner will be award the grand prize. The Alabama Soccer Complex will have Halloween decorations, and there will also be a costume contest. There will also be an inflatable bounce house present during the match. After the match there will be a kick or treat contest that fans will be able to play, and the Alabama players will be available for pictures after the match.
