Baseball to Play Doubleheader with LSU on Saturday

BATON ROUGE, La. – Due to serve weather on Friday evening, Alabama baseball will play a doubleheader with seventh-ranked LSU on Saturday, the two sides announced.
The first game of Saturday’s double dip will start at 2 p.m. CT. The second game will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT. Sunday’s series finale with the Tigers will remain as scheduled, with a 1 p.m. CT first pitch on SEC Network+.
Alabama and LSU will square off for the 364th time on Saturday in a series that dates back to 1906. The Crimson Tide owns the all-time advantage, 199-161-3, but the Tigers lead in Baton Rouge, 79-83-3. In the most recent series, LSU swept UA in Hoover, playing in a 16-inning game on Friday and a 13-inning game on Sunday and totaling 38.0 innings of baseball for the weekend, the most frames played across a three-game series in Alabama history.
