
Alabama Soccer Announces 2016 Spring Schedule

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama soccer team will take part in five spring matches, as head coach Wes Hart announced the Tide’s 2016 Spring slate on Friday.
The spring slate features a total of three home contests and two away games, opening with a match vs. Georgia State at 1:00 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 5, at the Alabama Soccer Complex.
“I’m very excited for the spring season,” Hart said. “The team looks sharp and training has been excellent. We’re excited to get out and see if we can execute what we’ve been working on in training.”
Following the opening match of the spring campaign, the Tide will participate in only one game in the month of March when Mississippi State visits Tuscaloosa on Thursday, March 31, at 8 p.m.
Alabama will then take part in another three exhibition games during the month of April. The Tide will face Troy on the road on Friday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. CT, Vanderbilt on Sunday, April 17, at 1 p.m. CT and conclude spring play when it travels to Nashville to play at Lipscomb on April 23, at noon CT.
The Tide’s three home matches will be played at the Alabama Soccer Complex. Admission is free to all fans.
