
Alabama Women’s Basketball Game Promotions Schedule Announced for 2016-17 Season

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Several single-game and season-long promotions are on tap for the upcoming Alabama women's basketball season, the team announced on Tuesday.
Tuscaloosa Toyota is continuing its support of Alabama women's basketball and will provide giveaways throughout the season including iPad Pro 9.7s, Beats headphones, $50 iTunes gift cards, $50 American Express gift cards and 43" LCD televisions. They will also award one lucky student a $1,000 spring break giveaway at the Missouri game on Feb. 26.
New to this year's slate is the Hoo's Q 30 in the 1st Quarter deal where all fans in attendance will receive 30 percent off their next meal at Hoo's Q if the team scores 30 points in the first quarter.
Single-game promotions begin this week with the $6 doubleheader ticket, good for admission into both the women's basketball game at 5 p.m. and the men's basketball game at 8 p.m on Friday, Nov. 11. In addition, Coleman Coliseum T-shirts will be handed out prior to the women's game.
The annual Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger food drive comes to Coleman Coliseum on Monday, Nov. 14, for the Tide's matchup with Mississippi Valley State. Each fan that donates one canned good or non-perishable item will receive $3 admission to the game. Schedule magnets will also be given out upon admission.
The Alabama A&M game on Sunday, Nov. 27, will serve as the team's Faith & Family Night as well as its Madison County Night. All residents of Madison County will receive $3. Fans that show a ticket from the football game against Auburn from the day before will also receive $3 admission on Nov. 27.
There are several groups that will be recognized and invited to the Dec. 4, SEC/Big 12 Challenge contest against Kansas as it is Dad & Daughter Day, Big Al's Kids' Club Day, Camper Reunion Day, Special Olympics Day and Senior Citizens' Day. In addition, Callie's Place, a local no-kill animal rescue, will be on hand for a pregame adoption event and in-game recognition. McAllister's will provide free cookies in honor of National Cookie Day.
The teddy bear toss is back for a second year for Alabama's game against Georgia Tech on Saturday, Dec. 17. All stuffed animals tossed at halftime will be donated to local families through Toys for Tots. There will also be an ugly sweater T-shirt giveaway and holiday photographs with Santa Claus in the main lobby. Residents of Jefferson County will receive a group rate ticket to the game on Dec. 17.
The home portion of the Southeastern Conference schedule opens on Thursday, Jan. 5, against Ole Miss and will feature Dollar Night. That will be followed up by a rally towel giveaway for the game on Thursday, Jan. 12, against Kentucky.
For the game on Sunday, Jan. 15, against Arkansas, headbands will be handed out prior to the game as part of National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
We Back Pat Night, set in place to raise awareness for Alzheimer's and honor the late Pat Summitt, is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19, against Mississippi State. We Back Pat T-shirts will be handed out upon entry to the game.
Women's basketball's Bama Salute game, which will be another T-shirt giveaway, is slated for Sunday, Jan. 29, against Auburn. Throughout the game military personnel and first responders will be recognized.
The team's annual Power of Pink/Play4Kay game will take place on Sunday, Feb. 12 against Florida. Power of Pink T-shirts will be given away to fans on hand for the contest against the Gators.
For the Crimson Out game on Thursday, Feb. 16, against Tennessee, LED foam sticks will be handed out, and there will be a Greek Life step show at halftime. All residents of Tuscaloosa County will receive a group rate ticket to the game.
The home slate wraps up on Sunday, Feb. 26, with Beach Night and Season Ticketholder Appreciate Night. T-shirts will be given away to all fans in attendance, and season ticketholders can take advantage of the group rate for up to eight additional tickets for family and friends. There will also be a cheer and dance clinic with a performance at halftime.
Postgame autographs are currently schedule for games on Friday, Nov. 11, Sunday, Nov. 27, Sunday, Jan. 29 and Sunday, Feb. 12. All autograph sessions will take place on the concourse in Coleman Coliseum.
