TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team practiced in full pads for two hours at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for this weekend's matchup with No. 16/18 Arkansas.
The Tide began to narrow its focus on stopping a balanced Razorback offense that ranks among the best in the conference both on the ground and through the air. The two teams will square off this Saturday, Oct. 8, at 6:05 p.m. CT at Reynolds Razorback Stadium. ESPN will air the game with Joe Tessitore, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe calling the action.
Alabama holds the all-time series advantage, 16-8 (19-7 before forfeited and vacated games), and has won the last nine matchups between the two squads. The Tide has also won four consecutive meetings in Fayetteville, outscoring the Razorbacks 139-47 over that span. Last season, Alabama posted a 27-14 Homecoming win over Arkansas at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
