Alabama Women’s Tennis Set to Compete in 2016 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Sophomore Andie Daniell and senior Eric Routliffe are set compete in the 2016 Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif., at the Riviera Tennis Club. Qualifying will be played Oct. 4-5, while main draw action is slated for Oct. 6-9.
Daniell, who is seeded sixth in the qualifying singles draw, will take on California's Denise Starr in the round of 64 on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT to get things started for the Crimson Tide. Eight individuals will advance from the qualifying draw into main draw action.
Routliffe, by virtue of her preseason ranking of No. 18, is already slotted in the singles main draw. The duo is also entered in the main draw of doubles. Matchups for both the singles and doubles main draws will be announced later in the week.
