Alabama Athletics set to Participate in Annual Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger Drive

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama Athletics will once again take part in the Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger drive by collecting canned goods at selected home events during the months of October and November.
Fans will have the opportunity to participate in Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger at the following:
Thursday, Oct. 27: Soccer vs. Vanderbilt
- Receive a ticket to the volleyball match on Nov. 6 vs. Arkansas with one canned food item
Thursday, Nov. 3: Men's Basketball vs. Faulkner
- Receive a discounted ticket for $3 with one canned food item
Wednesday, Nov. 9: Volleyball vs. Auburn
- Receive a discounted ticket for $1 with one canned food item
Monday, Nov. 14: Women's Basketball vs. Mississippi Valley State
- Receive a discounted ticket for $3 with one canned food item
Over the past 20 years, more than 2 million pounds of food have been collected for the West Alabama Food Bank, including 116,370 pounds in 2015. This year's theme for the competition is "Together we CAN," and those posting on social media are encouraged to use the #TogetherWeCAN hashtag.
The drive, which is organized by The University of Alabama's Center for Service and Leadership, ends Wednesday, Nov. 16.
