Avery Johnson, Corban Collins and Riley Norris represent Tide in Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alabama men's basketball head coach Avery Johnson, along with guard Corban Collins and guard/forward Riley Norris, represented the Crimson Tide program at the Southeastern Conference men's basketball media day on Wednesday afternoon, which was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
The trio spent their time talking with different local and national media outlets previewing the 2016-17 Crimson Tide team. The two-hour long event included photo shoots and interviews with the likes of ESPN college basketball analysts Andy Katz, Seth Greenberg and Sean Farnham, among others. The day was highlighted with a live segment for both coach Johnson and the two players on the SEC Now set, hosted by Dari Nowkhah.
The network's coverage of the SEC men's basketball season both began and will end with SEC Now's onsite coverage at Bridgestone Arena, as the arena is also home to the SEC Basketball Tournament in March. Since SEC Network launched in 2014, every men's basketball conference game has been made available on national television and the network's flagship news and information show has been onsite for the tournament.
The event tips off more than 120 men's basketball games scheduled for the network this year.
