Alabama Football Celebrates 16th National Championship with Parade on Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama Crimson Tide football team joined fans in celebrating the program's NCAA-record 16th national championship with a parade and ceremony on Saturday morning.
The parade began at Denny Chimes and proceeded to the Walk of Champions where a ceremony was held to present the Cotton Bowl Trophy, Amway Coaches Trophy and College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy. The captains and head coach Nick Saban then spoke to the fans before the unveiling of the 2015 National Champions inscription on the rock surrounding the Nick Saban statue.
The entire event was televised live on the SEC Network with all four captains joining Joe Tessitore and former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy on air.
