Women's Tennis Heads to Furman Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama women's tennis team will travel to Greenville, S.C., this weekend for the 29th annual Furman Fall Classic, a tournament that features six teams that were ranked in the top 61 of the final ITA Collegiate Tennis rankings. Five members of the Crimson Tide are scheduled to compete alongside participants from Vanderbilt, Clemson, Florida State, Furman, Iowa, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Alabama will be represented by five of its eight members, including senior Natalia Maynetto, juniors Erin Routliffe and Joanna Nena Savva, sophomore Aryn Greene and freshman Andie Daniell.
The tournament will feature eight singles draws and four doubles draw, and will begin each morning at 8 a.m. CT. Friday's action will feature two rounds of doubles and one singles round, followed by one round of both singles and doubles on Saturday. The tournament will conclude on Sunday with one final round of singles.
