Alabama Men's Basketball to Hold Open Tryouts

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama men's basketball team will hold open tryouts for any currently enrolled students who may be interested in walking on to the men's basketball team.
The tryouts will be held in the men's basketball practice gym, located near the rear entrance of Coleman Coliseum, on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Check in will begin at 6 a.m. CT with warmups and tryouts beginning at 6:30 a.m. CT.
Students who are interested in attending the tryout must have a complete medical physical. That includes all lab work and results from EKG and sickle cell trait tests. Students also must bring proof of the physical, a completed medical history form, completed insurance form and copy of front and back of insurance card. All paper work must by turned in to the men's basketball office no later than Monday, Sept. 28, at 5 p.m. CT.
