Alabama Gymnastics Releases 2016 Television Schedule

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The two-time defending Southeastern Conference champion Alabama gymnastics team released a 2016 television schedule on Wednesday that includes six regular-season meets which will be broadcast live and two more that will be aired on a taped delay basis.
"We are so excited that our fans across the country and really around the world will have the opportunity to see our ladies compete live," UA head coach Dana Duckworth said. "The SEC Network and ESPN provide such amazing exposure for our team and our University."
The Crimson Tide's Jan. 15 home opener against Missouri as well as its Jan. 22 home meet against Arkansas will start at 6 p.m. CT and will air live on the SEC Network. The Alabama-Missouri meet kicks off the SEC Network's 2016 gymnastics slate, which expanded to 15 live regular-season meets this season.
Alabama's Feb. 5 Power of Pink meet against Kentucky will get underway at 7:30 p.m. and will be aired on a taped delay basis on ESPNU. The Tide's regular season home finale against archrival Georgia will get underway at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 and will air live on the SEC Network.
Alabama opens the 2016 season at UCLA on Sunday, Jan. 10 in a meet that will air live on the Pac12 Network starting at 4 p.m. CT. The Tide's meet at Florida will be live on the SEC Network on Jan. 29 starting at 6 p.m. CT while the Tide's meet at in-state rival Auburn will be live on the SEC Network starting at 7:30 p.m. CT.
The Tide closes out the regular season on March 4 at LSU starting at 7:30 p.m. CT in a meet that will be aired on a taped delay basis on the SEC Network.
Tickets for the Crimson Tide's regular season as well as the Alabama-hosted April 2 NCAA Tuscaloosa Regional Championships are on sale now through RollTide.com and the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262) located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum.
