TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama football team moved indoors and put in a two-hour session inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on Saturday afternoon wearing full pads. The practice was the final one before the Crimson Tide enters game week preparations on Monday.
Saturday's 24th practice of the fall was the final outing before the team begins official game week work for the season opener with the 20th-ranked Wisconsin Badgers in the AdvoCare Classic. The two teams will meet inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the game set for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC. Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will have the call from the booth with Heather Cox patrolling the sidelines.
The Crimson Tide will take Sunday off before starting into its regular season routine on Monday afternoon. Head coach Nick Saban is scheduled for his noon press conference followed by interviews with the players prior to the day's 3:30 p.m. CT practice.
