Former Alabama Quarterback Greg McElroy to Join SEC Nation

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Former Alabama quarterback and current SEC Network analyst Greg McElroy will join the desk of SEC Nation, the network's traveling pregame show, for the 2015 season the network announced Wednesday.
The former New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback spent the 2014 season with the SEC Network as studio analyst. McElroy guided Alabama to the 2009 BCS National Championship and an undefeated 14-0 record. He finished his Crimson Tide career with a 24-3 record as the starting quarterback.
SEC Nation returns for its second season Saturday, Sept. 5, with host Joe Tessitore, first-round draft pick and second-year analyst Marcus Spears, outspoken radio host Paul Finebaum, reporter Kaylee Hartung and McElroy. The two-hour show occupies the same timeslot as last year, airing every Saturday at 9 a.m. CT, live from a different Southeastern Conference campus. SEC Nation's first stop will be announced next week.
